Ryan’s hunting passion was started at a young age. Watching his father and Uncles hunt for deer, pheasants, and quail.  He was hooked. Like many young boys it started by shooting sparrows with a BB gun. As he continued to grow so did his drive to hunt and fish. When he turned 14 and had completed hunter safety it was time to hunt doves and deer. He shot my first deer at the age of 16 with a rifle in Nebraska. As he got older he found archery hunting, shooting my first deer with a bow was a new-found passion.  After that he put the rifle away and it was archery and muzzleloader from there on.

His two biggest bucks to date have come by way of the muzzleloader. His next goal is to surpass those bucks using archery equipment. Ryan travels to South Dakota every other year to hunt in the Black Hills for mule deer, whitetails, and antelope. He also has a passion for duck hunting that you will see from time to time here on Victory Outdoors. This journey with Victory Outdoors allows his to share and preserve some of life’s most exciting moments and hunts, with his family.
